Meet Saurav Dutt

Indian-born British novelist Saurav Dutt is an Author and Political Analyst.

A TIME magazine featured writer, Dutt’s acclaimed debut novel 'The Butterfly Room' explored issues of domestic violence and homophobia within South Asian communities and was showcased alongside leading political figures and human rights campaigners.

Writing on geopolitics and history through an Indian eye, he commemorated the centenary of the 1919 Amritsar Massacre with his hard-hitting novel “Massacre at Jallianwala Bagh” which was launched at the House of Lords. Recent works include a political biography of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and a study of the partnership between US President Donald Trump and Modi in the political study “Balance of Power: US-India Ties in the Epoch of Trump and Modi.
